Week 1 of the Nith Sea Trout Experience

The Nith sea trout experience event got off to an enthusiastic start on Friday 5th June.  Groups of up to four anglers took to their allocated beats having been shown round by beat representatives.  The conditions were raw with a bitter strong wind blowing, clear moon lit sky and the river still running off following a flood, very similar to the Status Quo concert which could be overheard by those fishing in the lower beats.  That said the rods eagerly took to the water and enjoyed experience of fishing an unfamiliar stretch of water.  Comments were positive and fish were captured.  It was reminiscent of yester year to see so many anglers on the river.
