River Nith Sea Trout Experience 2016

Following the success of the Sea Trout Experience during 2015, the Nith District Salmon Fishery Board is repeating the River Nith Sea Trout Experience event again during 2016. Fishing beats on the river have been kindly donated by the owners and sea trout fishing is provided “free of charge” to participants registered onto the event.

Dates: The event will take place over the following dates

Friday 17^th June 2016

Friday 24^th June 2016

Friday 1^st July 2016

Friday 8^th July 2016

Rules:

• Nith sea trout experience will be run every Friday evening from 6.00pm to 6.00am Saturday morning commencing Friday 17^th June – Friday 8^th July inclusive (four weeks in total)
• Fly fishing only will be permitted
• 100% catch and release using best practice
• Pairs or individual anglers may register (individuals will be paired up)
• Anglers do not have to fish every week but it is essential that we are notified so we can re-allocate the place
• Anglers will fish a different beat each week
• Beat representatives will show anglers around the allocated beat on Friday evenings
• Results of each evenings fishing MUST be reported to NDSFB by 9am the following Monday morning (reports can be made to admin@river-nith.com or by leaving a message on 01387 740 043)
• Register by 1^st June 2016 to participate
