Nith Sea Trout Experience Opening Event

The opening event of the Nith Sea Trout Experience was held last night at Friars Carse Hotel and there was a good turn out of keen anglers, all ready to get under way and try out eight different fishing beats in eight weeks!

The aims of this event is to enable anglers to experience sea trout fishing on beats of the River Nith that they have never fished before, hopefully returning at a later date having enjoyed the experience.  Most importantly we will gain information on the numbers of sea trout present in our river whilst promoting the River Nith and its sea trout fishing.  Further information for those taking part in the Nith Sea Trout Experience can be found here: Nith Sea Trout Experience 2015
