Fishery Biologist

Debbie Parke has a BSc Hons in Aquaculture from Stirling University and has been working as the Biologist for the Nith Catchment Fishery Trust since August 2009. Debbie is also a qualified Water Bailiff, supporting the NDSFB bailiffing team when required.

 

John Stainsby
Seasonal Fishery Assistant

John first started working for the Trust in 2010 as a seasonal member of staff.  He is currently studying at Heriot Watt Univeristy and is qualified as an Electrofishing Team Member and in the Safe Use of Pesticides to PA6AW level.

 

Amy Ferguson
Seasonal Fishery Assistant

Amy started working for the Trust in May 2012 and is studying Animal Biology at Napier University, Edinburgh for the rest of the year.  Amy's primary focus is on the control of Invasive Non Native Species within the Nith catchment. She is qualified in the Safe Use of Pesticides (PA6AW).

 

Sophie Whytock
Seasonal Fishery Assistant

Sophie started with the Trust in June 2012 and is studying Environmental Science at Perth UHI. Sophie assists with the control of invasive non-native species in the Nith catchment.
